Camille (Dental Assistant)
Born in the Philippines, our small but mighty Camille moved to Canada with her family in 2009. After attending school for cooking and flight attendant training, she has found her way into the dental world — and the Dogwood team has benefited greatly from her decision to shift careers. In April 2026, Camille graduated from Vancouver Community College's dental assisting program, quite a feat with four children and a full-time job! She is now in the process of obtaining her license with the province of British Columbia. Camille’s fast energy, desire to learn and high level infection control skills are a bonus to our patients. Her hobbies include travelling and spending time with husband JC her four children.
Marianne (Licensed Dental Hygienist)
Marianne graduated from Cegep de l'Outaouais in Gatineau, Quebec in 2014, obtaining her dental hygiene diploma. Hailing from Saint-Lin-Laurentides in the Laurentians, north of Montreal, she started her dental hygienist career in Gatineau, working for a number of family dental practices, before moving to Victoria with her partner. Marianne's calm, gentle and easy-going manner has been welcomed by patients and our dental team. Both fans of snowboarding, hiking and trekking, camping and other outside activities, Marianne and her partner Neil are now showing their two young children Adam and Hayley how to enjoy Vancouver Island and the world, to its fullest.
Juhee
Juhee has come onto our team to assist while some of our team members are on maternity leave. In 2022, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Eulji University, Seongnam-si, Gyunggio-do, South Korea. It was a trip to British Columbia that year to visit her sister, that gave Juhee the bug to move to our great province. Now certified as a licensed dental assistant in British Columbia, Juhee is keen to be a part of our team, to share ideas and integrate into the local dental community. We welcome her and appreciate her strong work ethic and calm reassuring manner with patients.
